Who is the Stone Crone?

Denise Poole's unique communion with stones unfolded over 25 years, 12 spent living in New Zealand. It was there, while exploring the length and breadth of the North and South Islands, that she began collecting stones--from turquoise rivers, black, white and gold sand beaches, and at the foot of inland and coastal mountains throughout this South Pacific nation... This collection grew to more than a million stones, and her awareness of reality was dramatically altered. She became a conscious channel for the Earth Mother. The stones became her teachers, guiding her on many other-worldly adventures, to dimensions beyond normal perception. She kept a record of these sacred journeys, amassing hundreds of inspired messages and 'stone readings'. In 1994, she published a select collection of these writings in her book The New Stone Age~Earth Mother's Soliloquy.
